Obverse: Contains a view of the Holy Mosque in Makka. In the middle at the top appears the name of SAMA and the value of the note in Arabic. To the right is a picture of King Abdul-Aziz, with the undertaking by SAMA above it. To the left appears the water mark, the name of the King during whose reign the note was issued, the number and the date of the Royal Decree by virtue of which the note was issued, the serial number, the security thread and the signatures of the Minister of Finance and the Governor. The value of the note, in numbers, is given in the four corners.
Reverse: Contains an external view of al-Mas'a (next to the Holy Mosque of Makka) inside an octagon and the name of SAMA, as well as the value of the note, in English.
