Broadly struck silver showthaler coin and an official honorary award of the Government of the City of Vienna. This splendid design is plainly related to the end of the 17th century and the dawn of the 18th. Religious fervor, rarity, historical significance and beauty combine in this historic piece. This piece is struck from the dies used for the striking of the even more rare 10-ducats piece, which was issued for the same purpose, but in gold.
