Obverse: Portrait of Grover Cleveland at the center of the bill. There is a Red Treasury seal on the right hand side of the bill and the serial numbers are in red ink.
BEP engraved portrait of Cleveland as President. (BEP - Bureau of Engraving and Printing).
Stephen Grover Cleveland (March 18, 1837 – June 24, 1908) was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States.
Reverse: The left of the reverse has images of industry of the time period including a steam locomotive beside which is a motor car driving down a road. To the right of those you'll notice a propeller plane flying above trees. The right side of the reverse has large steamship and steamboat with the Statue of Liberty in the background. Picture of: Locomotive, automobile, passenger liner, and biplane; symbolizes the modern technology of transportation in 1914.
Predominant colors: Black and green.

Variations:  All red seal series of 1914 $20 bills are signed by Burke and McAdoo.  The varieties are based on the issuing district and federal code placement.  All twelve districts issued these bills.  Each district comes in two varieties with exception of Atlanta and Dallas.
