Obverse: Portrait of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar at right and Imperial Emblem of Iran during Pahlavi Dynasty (Lion and Sun with the Kiani Crown) at left. Persian script at the top and its English translation at the bottom: PAYABLE at KASVIN ONLY.
Reverse: Imperial Emblem of Persia at centre. Centered on top THE IMPERIAL BANK OF PERSIA in an arc and the value in words ONE TOMAN at lower centre panel, the value in figures 1 at each of the four corners.

Note that in the early issues of the banknotes, watermark was not used.
Regarding the hand-stamp, the banknote is valuable in Kasvin only.
