Banknotes of Iraq: 100 Dinars banknote of King Ghazi I era 1931 issued for the Government of Iraq by the Iraq Currency Board.
Obverse: Portrait of King Ghazi I in military uniform to the right and a watermark of the King in a white area to the left. Ghazi bin Faisal (Arabic: غازي ابن فيصل Ġāzī bin Fayṣal) (2 May 1912 – 4 April 1939) was the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Iraq from 1933 to 1939 having been briefly Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Syria in 1920. He was born in Mecca (in present-day Saudi Arabia), the only son of Faisal I, the first King of Iraq.
Reverse: Government of Iraq - One Hundred Dinars (Currency note issued and convertible into sterling in
accordance with the provisions of Law No. 44 of 1931).
Signatures: Mr. Leopold Stennett Amery MP (Chairman for seven years until late 1939 or early 1940 when he retired from the Iraq Currency Board following his appointment as Secretary of State for India) and Ali Jawdat al-Aiyubi ( Prime Minister of Iraq 1934–1935, 1949–1950, 1957).

The 100-dinar note was introduced during 1936 under Decree No. 567 of November 1936.
