Obverse: On the right, allegorical of a seated woman. In the center, inside a circle the denomination value "50". On the left, the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA" - "SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA", the legend of the capitalization amount "CAPITAL Bs 24.000.000.", "VALE POR", the denomination in words "CINCUENTA BOLÍVARES" and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO". In the upper left corner and bottom corners the denomination value "50" inside a circle. In the upper right corner the face value "50 BOLIVARES". Above, of the issuer name, the date filling space "Caracas, ______ 19__".
Reverse: Orange background pattern. In the center, inside a circle Coat of Arms with the motto "INDEPENDENCIA", "LIBERTAD", "5 DE JULIO 1811", "28 DE MARZO 1864" and "DIOS Y FEDERACION", on each side the denomination value "50" within a guilloche. on each side Coat of Arms the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA".

Design variations in the obverse: From Design B, Type A, in the signature zone, there was added a security background with guilloche patterns.
