Issued by the Government of Gibraltar under Authority of the Currency Note Ordinance CAP 39

Signature of Brian Traynor (as Financial and Development Secretary). Solid security thread. Two horizontal 6-digit serial numbers with single-letter prefix and numerals of the same size.
The reverse of the bank note features a magnificent aerial view of the Rock of Gibraltar taken from the south, right over the Strait of Gibraltar. As the runway runs directly from the west to the east aircraft land and take off according to the predominant wind direction.
