Obverse: Portrait of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi in army uniform at right and a view from Apadana Palace in Persepolis at left. Persian floral designs. Scripts: From top to bottom: "Bank-e- Markazie-e- Iran" (Central Bank of Iran), "Dah Rial" (Ten Rials). Ornate design at center, all the scripts on the obverse are in Farsi. Dark blue on orange, green and multicolor underprint.
Signatures: General director (right): Ali Asghar Naaser; Government's inspector (left): Nezaameddin Emaami.
Reverse: The Mausoleum of Avicenna in Hamadan. Texts: Bank Melli Iran; Rials 10.
