Obverse: Portrait of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar at right and Imperial Emblem of Iran during Pahlavi Dynasty (Lion and Sun with the Kiani Crown) at left. Hand-stamp in English: "PAYABLE AT TEHERAN ONLY" & date of issue: "2nd April 1919". Oval Government seal at lower center.
Reverse: Imperial Emblem of Persia at centre. Centered on top THE IMPERIAL BANK OF PERSIA in an arc and the value in words FIFTY TOMANS at lower centre panel, the value in figures 50 at each of the four corners.
